Another week of training in the books! I would say it was mostly a successful week. Lots of miles left me very tired each day though, that's for sure. I took naps on both Saturday and Sunday. I swear this week consisted of two things- running and working. Not a lot of free time. I ran over 60 miles and I worked over 60 hours. Weekly Recap: Training for the Big Cottonwood Marathon!
Yes, it's official! I registered for the Big Cottonwood Marathon on September 10th. Boston registration opens on September 12, so this will be my 'last chance marathon.' It starts at altitude, but it has a LOT of downhill. My coach said I'll need to do some hard training on the downhill to prepare my quads.
