Weekly Recap: 16 Weeks Until the Houston Marathon
There are 16 weeks until the Houston Marathon, which will hopefully be my 30th full marathon! Generally most marathon training plans are 16 weeks long, so I guess this is the official kickoff to training. I'm excited and feeling cautiously optimistic. Weekly Recap: Training for the Antarctica Marathon
Cheers to running outside! Though my paces were slower than normal, I got outside for all but 10 out of 60 miles of running. Yay! Weekly Recap: Training for the Big Cottonwood Marathon!
Yes, it's official! I registered for the Big Cottonwood Marathon on September 10th. Boston registration opens on September 12, so this will be my 'last chance marathon.' It starts at altitude, but it has a LOT of downhill. My coach said I'll need to do some hard training on the downhill to prepare my quads.
