Girlfriends. Aren't they great? I have four girlfriends that I have known for my whole life (see below pics with 3 out of the 4 of them!) Yep, my sisters. Many years ago, I gave my sister a magnet that read, "Sisters by Chance. Friends by Choice." Blah. So corny! But so true! I feel #blessed (yes, I just did that...) to have these four people as lifelong friends. They Continue Reading

What I’m Excited About AFTER Grandma’s Marathon…
I'm the first to admit that my training for Grandma's Marathon was pretty intense. I ran a lot of miles and didn't have a lot of extra time for other activities. My friend Ericka (the kettlebell instructor from this post) is Continue Reading

This past Memorial Day, I ran the Brian Kraft Memorial 5k. It is a flat and fast race around Lake Nokomis. When I say FAST, I mean it! The winning time was 14:20! It attracts a very competitive field. I ran this race last year, but it was right after the Flying Pig Marathon, so I was still in recovery mode. This year, I was ready to race! I participated in this race as part of my running Continue Reading
