"I'm so busy." We all say it. When someone asks how you're doing, answering "I'm so busy" is the new "I'm doing well." We're all busy. However, sometimes you talk to someone and you realize they are actually really busy and then you wonder how they get it all done. I'm talking about the kind of person who is able to successfully train for a marathon while working night shifts and super Continue Reading

I am now 16 weeks away from the Richmond Marathon! Monday: Easy morning 10k with a few run club friends Tuesday: Hill repeats with my run club. Fitting Remarks: Celebrating Your Girlfriends!
Girlfriends. Aren't they great? I have four girlfriends that I have known for my whole life (see below pics with 3 out of the 4 of them!) Yep, my sisters. I participated in this race as part of my running Continue Reading

What a beautiful week it was in Minneapolis. The weather was so wonderful and everyone seemed to be in such great moods! It's amazing what a difference a little sunshine can make. Monday: My first "workout" of Grandma's training, but it was a short one to ease me back into moving my legs faster again: 4 minutes at a 7:50 pace with 1 minute off, 6 times, with a mile to warmup and a mile to cool Continue Reading

Most likely, you already have your favorite running routes; you will read this and say to yourself, "How could you not include X or Y?" And you're right! There are so many awesome places to run in Minneapolis that I couldn't possibly cover them all. Instead, I'm going to Continue Reading
