Hello and happy Sunday! I'm here with my standard weekly recap, linking up with HoHo Run and Taking the Long Way Home, details at the end of this post. Join us, it's a great way to connect with other fitness bloggers! If you missed last week's recap, I shared that I registered for my first marathon post-broken leg, the Houston Marathon on January 20! It's 7 months away, but I'll continue to Continue Reading
Weekly Recap: 6 Weeks Until the Antarctica Marathon
Another wintry week of training for the Antarctica Marathon, while living in Minneapolis! Here's how everything went this past week: Monday: 8 mile run commute into the office. Slippery, snowy, same old story in Minnesota in January. Tuesday: Rest day! I had a work event at a cooking school; it was so much fun! Wednesday: I was awake and in my running clothes, ready to run commute. I Continue Reading
Weekly Recap: 10 Weeks Until the Antarctica Marathon
Happy New Year everyone! Big plans tonight? We are going out to dinner with Dustin's family, but I have a feeling we will be home and in bed before midnight. Just the way this old lady likes it! :) Tilda wanted me to share a photo of her new cozy cove bed she received from Santa (see above photo). She loves it! Vizslas love to be under a blanket; in fact, she sleeps in our bed, but curls up Continue Reading
The 3 Bridges Marathon in Little Rock, Arkansas
Last Saturday, I ran my 29th marathon, the 3 Bridges Marathon in Little Rock, Arkansas. It was a super tiny marathon (284 finishers) but small isn't a bad thing. It was actually a really lovely marathon! I have to note though that it was interesting to go from the BIGGEST marathon in the world (New York City) to one of the smallest I've ever run! But if you're pursuing the 50 state goal like Continue Reading

I believe Mill City is the only local running store that carries lululemon - pretty cool! The launch party included drinks, appetizers, and a free ($78 value) yoga mat for the first 50 people to purchase something lululemon ! I could bring a '+1', so I invited my Continue Reading

If you missed it, I shared two posts this week, gear tips for running in the dark and a reflection on the past 18 weeks of training for the NYC Marathon. Check them out! I'm here as usual with Continue Reading
Weekly Recap: Home Sweet Home!
My first full week back in the United States- woo-hoo! I had a great experience in India, but there's no place like home. And while I struggled to get the training in while I was overseas, it felt great to get back to it this week back in Minneapolis- where it's EASY to be a runner! I'm linking up as always with Jess from Jess Runs ATL, details below. Here's how last week's training for the Continue Reading
