Looking for a perfect hot weather tank? I think I have found it!
It’s from Brooks…like a lot of my apparel lately it seems.
It’s the Brooks Versatile Lite Running Tank and it is incredibly, well, lite and versatile! Emphasis on the word light (lite?) The material is super soft, a bit transparent (but in a G-rated way), no seams, no chafing…just a perfect hot weather tank.
You can barely feel this tank when running.
Another bonus? When packing a suitcase for a trip, this tank takes up zero space. And since it’s so quick drying, it would be a great travel top as well for runs on the road!
I originally purchased the tank in the aqua green as pictured, but I loved it so much I had to add the orange to my closet as well. It also comes in black and blue.
It’s $36 on the Brooks website or $32 on Road Runner Sports if you’re VIP (and you should be!)
“The women’s Versatile Lite Running Tank is made from ultra-light knit fabric for breezy comfort and features front and back reflectivity for a dash of high visibility in low-light situations. It’s ready to go wherever your run takes you.”
• Fit: semi-fitted
• Ultra-light knit fabric
• Semi-fitted cut for roomy comfort
• Front and back reflectivity
If you need a fun new hot weather running tank, definitely check this one out and let me know how you like it.
Cheers to warm weather on its way!
Very cute top! I really like the coneflower blue color. Nice review!
Thanks Katie! Yes, I thought I would like the orange more than the blue, but the blue/green one is my favorite!
I thought I was the only one left in 2015 who likes running in knit tops! I love a good tech fabric for long and sweaty runs, but I always feel more comfortable running in knit tops. Thanks for the review, Jessie – I’ll have to pick one of these up this spring!
Haha, but this one is SO light! Its better than tech stuff, I swear 🙂
I’ll have to check this out! I’m planning to go to the RRS Adventure Run in my area in May, so that might be a perfect time 🙂 I definitely need more warm weather running clothes, and I get hot pretty easily while running.
Oh, an adventure run sounds fun! I run “hot” as well, i.e. heating up pretty quickly, so I’m always on the look out for good hot weather apparel! Good luck!
Beautiful top. Actually really like the orange which is confusing me cause normally I hate it 😉
Ha! Well, it’s good to change things up every once and while, even with colors you don’t usually like!
